Hey @OCBob you seem to know a lot of stuff. Does Koss sell an apple specific version of the K30? I like the pair I have but it does some whacky stuff like activating Siri randomly unless I take off the phone case.

cwelton17Apple uses a different TRRS (Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve) wiring configuration in their phone and tablet jacks (I'm not sure about the computers/laptops) when compared to Android phones/PC's, Chromebooks and DAPs I've tried. This is where the problem you're having arises. The only Apple specific headphone they make (besides their Bluetooth models) is the Porta Pro KTC. https://www.koss.com/headphones/on-ear-headphones/porta-pro-ktc If you want to fix the issue you can try one of these adapters which removes the mic/remote channel, but you'll lose mic/remote function. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MV2PDCA/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If the problem occurs only when you have the case on it may be restricting the plug from seating fully, but I've been able to replicate this issue with wife's iPhone even when I know the plug is fully seated in the jack with or without a case.
