Wow, I just slapped these $4 Grado Headphone G Cushion replacement pads on the HPI30i's: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Replacement-Ear-Pads-Grado-Headphone-G-Cushion-GS1000i-GS1000e-PS1000-PS1000e/253212056883?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 They are huge, but wow, does the sound ever come alive. Highly recommended.

If you want to head out in public with the Grado G cushions, you will indeed look somewhat silly! I just use them around the house though, so it's a non-issue for me.

Some impression from here: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/koss-kph30i-thread.915308/page-2#post-15260724 "Much bigger soundstage width and depth, whole sound is more clear since there's nothing covering the grill. Surprisingly sound signature is still pretty much the same but less veiled. Bass is very clean and punchy!" "needs quite a bit more volume with G pads. Same thing with my Grados with G pads. Kph30i feels like super light full-size headphone with those G pads and sounds indeed outstanding."

Thanks for that link! I just ordered a set. I figure for $5 it’s well worth trying!
