Placed an order for the rhythm beige. This will be my second set as the first one went to my granddaughter. May give the yaxi pads on this set. Im not sure but I think her set are broken. Maybe I’ll get them replaced under lifetime warranty.

ecolemanDo they alter the sound? If so, in which way? Looking for a quarantine project! Thanks

oldnoobMore trained ears than mine might say the sound changes, but it's nothing I picked up on. Personally, I really appreciated the increase in comfort for longer listening sessions, the factory pads didn't have the same lightness on the ears after extended periods of time as the Yaxi ones do. If you do pull your headphones apart, be careful with the plastic. There are 3 tabs that hold the driver bracket in place. As long as you're not trying to preserve the old ones you can rip the foam off and get clear access to them. I used a small screwdriver to push the tabs into the opening, and with gentle pressure the bracket pops right off.

ecolemanThanks for that. My are old and not fully functional so the comfort angle is what I’d be after. Stay healthy.
