How these compare to the beyerdinamic dt770's , if anyone knows. Or with let'say the m50x or someother better known things ? Thanks, in case someone answers ☺
gluonI have the both the Pro4S and the Beyer DT770 (80 ohm). Compared to the DT770, the Pro 4S has comparable amplitude bass extension, but it is substantially more distorted - bass is relatively forgiving for this, but the 770's sub bass extension is really clean and impressive for a dynamic. The 4S has a cleaner, classic mid tuned approach (although the upper mid is quite extended), whereas the DT770 is a wild specimen of the rapid reflex drivers and is relatively bright. They both isolate very well, but the 770 slightly more so. Both are built like tanks and will survive studio use well. The Koss are portable, they are low impedance and fold flat around your neck or for compact carry; the 770 is transportable, they are big and can benefit more from amping. Comfort wise, the 770 is much more easier to wear for extended sessions, the 4S' is a pretty small enclosure in comparison, and the velour 770 pads are very hard to beat for cozy. They are both built like tanks; Koss has a much better warranty if you live in the US.

GiantHeadphoneSquidThanks for reply. For music listening, which one do you prefer and would be the first choice ? Which has a more enjoyable sound overall ?
gluonFor me, the DT770 would be my first choice of the pair for sound profile. They run a very satisfying, if a bit wild, mix of clean extended bass and sparkly, bright highs - very impressive for a closed back of its price point and age. If you can work with the larger size and the extra cost, I'd definitely recommend them.

GiantHeadphoneSquidCool, i already got them, the dt770 32 ohm. I was contemplating at these koss, but people keep saying they have no sound stage so I guess I'll skip them. It seems this design, with flat cups like m50x and these leaves no room for soundstage.
