Designed with bushcraft and survival specialist Karu Survival, the Kupilka Firesteel 8 fire starter is an essential tool for every outdoor enthusiast. Made from European ferrocerium, it’s capable of producing sparks up to 5,432 degrees Fahrenheit. The ergonomic handle is made from Kupilka’s Kareline composite (a blend of pinewood and thermoplastic), while the cord holding the striker is cut from ethically produced reindeer leather. And because the Firesteel measures less than 5 inches and weighs just 1.6 ounces, it takes up very little space in your pack and won’t weigh you down.
