In 2012, Kuwalla Tee (pronounced “quality”) set out to make better multipack T-shirts: comfortable, great-fitting basics featuring the best materials out there. These days, the Canadian company offers a full range of streetwear essentials, including this down parka made to withstand the frigid winters of its native Montreal Read More
In my experience, the quality of the garments from this company is not good. The pants I bought had threads hanging off several places, and it is made In China. I have bought similar quality clothes from DHGATE and they are all terrible. Clever name though. This jacket will likely start to fall apart after one season. Who knows about the down filling either. I doubt it was procured in a responsible or humane process...
RassentiSNAFUSorry you're disappointed with the quality, we wish that you would bring it to our attention personally as we take quality control seriously and input from our customers help us improve our quality. Yes, our garments are made in China, and we visit our factories twice a year to make sure they're socially responsible. We're also part of 1% For The Planet and donate 1% of our total sales to environmental organizations. Thats more than most brands could say.
kuwallaI came to Kuwalla immediately after receiving my order. No help or solution was given by your customer service rep. I was only reassured that the garment is of high quality. As if what I thought as a paying customer meant nothing. Kuwalla customer service had me walk away from the purchase completely unsatisfied.
There is a reason that businesses have parts made in China. The finished goods are extremely affordable. You get what you pay for, and with Kuwalla, you OVER pay for something that is poorly constructed. On top of the pants that had sloppy stitching, the shirts I purchased shrunk SIGNIFICANTLY. the shirts are almost paper thin, and feel cheap. On top of that, you are seeing an unsatisfied customer trying to be snuffed on a public forum, instead of helped when I initially went to them for help.
I am not discussing this further in this forum. Fix your customer service, adjust your prices because the kuwallatee is not there at the moment.
Just so to clarify, if you want the best, then goose down is the highest quality, and at least 85% (you will have to pay more). I have been noticing "fancy" names for inferior down, as an example: "power down fill." which is not specific enough, and it sure as heck does not say goose down. I am sure that this company is hoping for a big volume sale. I have been to Montreal, and it is colder than Chicago! Buyer beware.
TomasVUnfortunately, this is nowhere near an exact overall weight and, thus, not helpful regarding my question. Thank you for your effort nevertheless.
