Currently (Sep 27, 2018) these are $47.59 at Gearbest.com. As with the ZS10s, the AS10s mids and highs are extremely detailed, localized, and precise. Also, the upper mids are loud/prominent (perhaps the same 4 upper BA drivers in both models). The bass is faster and tighter with the AS10s, and about equally deep and powerful with the same tips.
The AS10s sit deeper in the ear than the ZS10s, and they are also thinner. I'm not sure yet which one I prefer, as they are not terribly different. From a comfort standpoint I like the TRN V80s better than both--they are quite small and easily stay put. But, the V80s are not as detailed or clean.

I bought these on Amazon for $64, returned them. Realized even though the fit wasn’t perfect for my ears I missed them, ordered them on EBay for $45.......and I should have them before Massdrop ships them. Right before packing them up I tried the smaller sized Sony Hybrid tips than I had previously experimented with and I got a perfect secure seal with no change is sound signature. It seems that the wider nozzle on the KZ units requires a smaller tip than normal for your ears.

In my comparisons the AS10 DESTROY the ZS10. At first I didn’t notice as much of a difference. But the increased output of the upper mids on the AS10 I believe are what does it for me. That upper midrange is difficult to do eight somxe of it's too got it's one of the most sensitive regions I'm the audio bands us humans are extremely sensitive to. It can make distorted guitars unlistenable and brass instruments much too hot. The ZS10 on the other hand are withdrawn to my ears, not to mention I can’t get them to stay in my ears unless I’m pressing into my ear canal. I’m sending mine back tomorrow. The ES4 in comparison is better for its price. The low end is slightly more pronounced but the mids aren’t oddly tunes like the ZS10 and while the treble is slightly splashy, with the right tracks it’s very pleasant. It’s only when comparing to something higher tier like the DMG that it seems lacking. Not BAD per se.....just not as refined. I like the TRN V80 better than the ZS10. Did some comparisons last night and the V80 is closer to the presentation to the DMG with foam tips. Still need to find the perfect foam tips for the V80 but I was very pleased browsing through my playlist. I feel no regrets sending the ZS10 back.

My initial impressions of the ZS10s were cold, analytical, and thin. I hated them at first. So, I went to my standard solution: the largest "New Bee" closed cell foam tips from Amazon. They make anything stay in place and also seal well. My ear canals are large, so I often must switch to wider tips.
After the tip swap the AS10s are still definitely better than the ZS10s, and less tip-dependent too. The ZS10s come across as a design prototype, with a huge housing, a poor timing match between BAs and the dynamic driver, one-note bass, and an overly bright upper mid range. But, with the right tips they are okay--and even nice if you want to emphasize the upper mids.
The TRN V80 is another animal entirely. It has much better timing and integration than the ZS10s, but is overly warm for many genres and not nearly as detailed. To me, it's a well-rounded casual IEM.

I just sold my V80's on Ebay and ordered the AS10s for $44.00 and change, free shipping. On Amazon there is a very nice Bluetooth Cable with apt-X for around $16.00 shipped. I hope I did the right thing lol.

I find the VIP is MILES ahead of the ZS10. If anything the V80 is on the bright side in the upper mids to lower treble and has an emphasized midbass with stick tips. With foam tips the sound signature is less bright. I do agree the ZS10 sound like a prototype but it's not better than the V80. With foam tips the V80 is in the same league as the DMG while the ZS10 .....if they actually stay in my ears have antuning that makes me want to rip them out. They ZS10 are being sent back tomorrow. I gave them an extra day just to do a bit more listening but everytime the music starts playing I just feel something's not right.

I don't know the name but if you put the ear phones in the search I sure it will come up on the same page some where. Just have a look around the same page as the earphones.
