I absolutely love this pen. This is a diamond in the rough type of pen at its price point. I got it the last time it was available a couple months ago in Rose Gold and Ivory with Medium Nib. I bought one in black and gold with Medium Nib when it just dropped again. First, the pen is stunning visually. You can tell Laban puts pride in the way its pen is made and you feel it when you pull it out to use it. It grabs attention but its not gaudy. Second, the pen in my opinion is a little heavy when posted if you are a light writer. I have a tendency to press too hard so the cap for me balances my writing out and lets the ink flow better when posted. Third, I like the medium nib. The ink flows really well and consistently. My only knock is that with this nib if you haven't used the pen in a few days it can be some work to get it flowing cleanly again. The pen weighs quite a bit. It is a heavy pen so if you do not like that then you wont like this pen. Personally i love it. This is one of my top three pens if not my favorite. Well worth it. Bravo Laban!

Love my new pen. It is a real eye-catcher, and has become an edc.

I recently got this in the rose gold/black pearl which is really more of a deep mocha. Very nice swirl to the acrylic, with variation from sold deep brown to lighter colors. The rose gold trim is well done and I like the wide cap band as it reminds me of older vintage pens. Ditto for the jewel on the cap.
However, the pen is very long! It is longer than my Bexley Imperial and is the longest pen in my collection. With a posted cap, it's a skyscraper! The body is long enough to write unposted even for large hands.
The nib I got is a fine, and it writes finer than a usual Euro fine, and broader than a Japanese fine - so a medium fine. Quite smooth, less toothy than a Bexley but not as smooth as some others. I think it's the same nib (fineness, smoothness) as you would find on another Taiwanese pen like a TWSBI (so possibly a German Bock nib).
Docked a star because: 1) Body is so long, that if you use short international carts the "Spare" rattles around in the pen. 2) the rose gold trim clashes with the yellow gold on the nib. This is more glaring because the section is plated in rose gold as well. A rhodium colored nib, or a blackened nib, would have been better. I'm tempted to fit a Nemosine Re-entry nib to it!

This pen doesn't come close to the quality and build of my other Laban pens. If I didn't know better, I would not believe the Mouviso was made by Laban. The feed is dry. When the ink finally gets to the nib, it is hard to start and skips constantly. This one will sit in its box never see the light of day again. A major disappointment.
