I got the last drop on these and have it on a pair of work shoes and my running shoes, I really love these things and they work as advertised. I would say leave 2 or 3 inches hanging so if you need to adjust them later on it will be easier than if you didn't leave much space. Will def buy again when I use up all the ones I have.
