GomiGuchiMine too! I wondered if it has to do with temperature or something, since mine was cold from outside when I filled it.
Also, it's leaked from the edge of the metal part by the nib. I've wrapped it in some of the built-in wiper strip on the ink bottle (HOW COOL IS THAT).
Also note to other Canadian orders if any: I did not have to pay any duty.

EDIT -- The pen is ridiculously smooth and excellent!! But there is one strange thing... the blind cap seems really loose. Not like it wobbles, but it is extremely easy to start unscrewing. Does anyone else have this with their pen??
