My Lamy 2000 and black ink arrived in Canada today. This was my first Massdrop and I thought I'd provide some shipping info for Canadians: October 31 - Ordered/Paid with Massdrop December 9 - USPS tracking shows as accepted in Edison NJ December 10 - Canada Post tracking shows arrived in Montreal and sent to Canada Customs for "processing". December 17 - Released back to Canada Post. At this point tracking showed an expected delivery of Dec 23. December 19 - Delivered to my address in Southern Ontario. Had to pay CAN$26 in taxes and handling costs. (These charges are not Massdrop's or Canada Post's issue, it is the way things are when shipping into Canada and I knew that going in.)
Hope this helps someone, now off to write with my new pen.

Video11Wow! I got mine in Vancouver two days ago, and I didn't have to pay duty.
Mysteries of cross-border shipping.

bittersweetdbLucky you. I have a theory that packages clearing customs in Montreal are more likely to be held up for an extended period of time and be assessed the full tax value. Can't prove it, just seems that every package coming through Toronto arrives quicker. Oh well, this Lamy 2000 drop was still a great deal.
