Hey,i just got this pen.Must say it is of great quality and feels really good on hand. But i can't say the same for the Glaser Leather Pen Case which i dropped with this pen,it came with a few scratches and wrinkle,and it took too much effort for me to pull out the pen. It is usable but i just don't feel it is of 50 USD quality,it is half the price for the pen and i can get a similar product for 10 or less. Maybe it is ultra durable or when it ages those things will go away but at least when i got it i was not very pleased with it. DeathWatchAre those both the Glaser Pen Case? The bottom one looks absolutely horrendous, but the top one doesn't seem too bad.

AskoglundSadly yes.Both are from Glaser.The bottom one has wrinkles in the shadow area so it seems ok on pictures but in reality it doesn't seem as good. I feel cheated and I even have some more coming on the stainless lamy 2000 drop…It seems so good on the massdrop picture.. I will try to contact massdrop when I have the time,but now I am on vacation. If any one else also have this problem please share or is it just me?

While variation in the grain and finish of leathers is pretty common, and it's true this case will wear over time, I think you're correct that one is cut from a questionable piece of the hide.
We're happy to send a replacement and that will be on the way to you shortly. It would be great if you could please return the sleeve being replaced to us so we can see it first-hand.
