I was wondering if there was a company out there that made some replica old-style fountain pens? I know this isn't related to the Lamy pen, but I'm interested in finding an older styled replica fountain pen. I recently watched The Imitation Game, and they used an older style fountain pen, and it seemed to have some flex to it. Thanks in advance.

PixelPixel, There used to be a fountain pen shop in New York City (may have been Wall St Pen, or something). They refurbished and resold fountain pens. Other larger cities may also have similar shops. There was a nice shop in Boston. See if you can find one either online or near by. Good luck.

Chris124I appreciate the response, although it would be nicer to find a more genuine older style pen with real age. I was hoping a company made replica's to ship. Thanks again.

PixelWhy get a replica when you can often get the real thing for a good price? Google "vintage fountain pens" and you'll find all sorts of sellers. There are several forums dedicated to the hobby of collecting and trading vintage pens. People there can guide you to what you are looking for. A pen show will provide a one-stop smorgasbord of pens. Modern pens are often styled after vintage designs (note I did not say copied). Bexley Pens was specifically founded with the goal of bringing back out of production designs using modern materials. Some of their older "modern" pens are almost considered "vintage" because they have been out of production for so long :) Finally, Hero (Chinese company) unabashedly copies several vintage designs (mostly Parkers) - these are good enough to fool the casual observer. Some actually write OK. :)
Also, you can get a flexible nib placed on almost any modern fountain pen. And get a custom tip, such as a cursive italic. These are hand-ground and polished by a person specializing in these things. So look for a nibmeister who will do a custom grind on your nib :)
Chris124 - The pen shop you are thinking of in NYC is the Fountain Pen Hospital, one of the best pen shops in the world. Since 1946. Respect.

LivermanThanks for letting me know. I suppose I asked for a replica so I wouldn't have to pay through a shady online store. Undoubtedly I would want the real thing, but kind of expected an existing company to mass produce a replica.
