I just received mine and forgive my ignorance since this is my first fountain pen, but the pen isn't writing out of the box.
Do I need to buy ink for it or something? If so, where? Didn't see it as an add-on for this drop.

OrenfliesSure you need to fill ink into a fountain pen to make it write, for some fountain pens (like lamy safari or al-star) there are non-refillable ink cartridges which are quite convenient, but I don't think the Lamy 2000 has cartridges available.

add349Alternately you can check out the LAMY 2000 tips (link below). I had not read the instructions properly and was doing it the way I thought it should be done (backwards).
