This is an excellent pen and is well worth the money. I have one in EF and it writes very smooth, since this is a German pen and EF is about what you'd expect a Japanese F to be. The stainless section of the grip can be a little slippery at times. It posts well. Be sure that if you do take this pen apart you don't lose the metal "ears" that keep the cap on the pen.
