Hi all -- Our apologies to non-US members that LAMY products are not currently available.
Due to the vendor's distribution agreements, we're not able to ship internationally right now.
We are hopeful the situation will change, but we don't expect any immediate policy shift.

JonasHeinemanNo issue at all, Lamy are probably among the most widely available pens in the world! That said, why didn't you, or the seller, include the now no more limited Matte Black Al-Star? You would have received A TON of orders, even with a US-limited drop! p.s.: To all fountain pens lovers on Massdrop: while the Matte Black Al-Star is coming back, the Aluminum version (aluminum gray body, black clip; the one in the large image under the title) is going out of production, so you might consider buying this one!

JonasHeinemanDoes that mean that basically no more Lamy pens being shipped internationally, even from other vendors? Or is it just for this particular vendor's Lamy products?

CeeWIf the drop you joined included international shipping at the time of your joining, you will receive your product. Massdrop will not let you place an order that they cannot ship to you. Worst case scenario, they refund it.

To what/which drops do the shipping restrictions apply? Just this one (for the Al-Star)? All future ones? I'm in CONUS (so not affected), but am a little confused and curious. I think others might like to know as well.

No converters, though. And the ink costs a bit more too.

JonasHeinemanI also want to know if this restriction applies to all future Lamy products, or just this specific drop. I am holding off on buying another AL-star, waiting for a Canadian-friendly drop for it, but if the future drops are not going to be for Canada either, then I might as well cut my wait short.

GonzoTGreatMost shipping restrictions are due as distributor arrangements and/or for discriminatory pricing, speaking as someone who has been living outside of the CONUS for the last 6 years. Looking for stuff on Amazon can get quite annoying also.

Unfortunately, Massdrop will not be able to offer LAMY products outside the US anytime soon.
We are looking into ways that we can return to worldwide distribution, but it will take time.
