TactileTurnRecommended by a guy who makes excellent pens... I'd be in if I didn't have one.

TactileTurnI ended up getting one of these (standard black finish) during one of the previous drops. the 14K EF nib I have is nice and soft/springy (but not flex), and I have a heavy hand, so I end up writing closer to a Lamy Fine or Medium when I'm trying to keep my handwriting neat. When writing fast, it is probably around Lamy EF-F for me. I'm using Caran d'Ache Infinite Grey in it at the moment, but I'm looking forward to swapping in one of the J. Herbin 1670 inks when they arrive. It really writes quite smoothly in both the Lamy blue ink (I used the included cartridge and then refilled it with the Caran d'Ache) and the Infinite Grey, so I have high expectations for continued smoothness.
I love the twist barrel design just because I love retractables (I had a VP that was stolen/lost on a business trip), and the weight of the pen feels pretty good, though it's definitely heavy. I liked the VP's pen clip as a way to orient my hand, and the Dialog3's clip does the same thing, so that's a plus for me (a minus for some people!)
My biggest negative to owning this pen is that it's so expensive, and having lost the VP previously, I'm kinda too paranoid to bring this pen out and about with me, so it's my home-pen. I use it mostly for writing cards and notes at home, which means it gets significantly less use than my Safari/Metropolitan (which I basically have in my bag or at my desk at work all the time). I also use it for practicing my handwriting/penmanship at home, so I do get to squeeze some more time out of the pen that way :).
I haven't tried, but the nib looks to be the same size as the steel Lamy Nibs, I don't know if the Steel and 14K gold nibs are interchangeable in any way though, but if anyone's tried, I'd love to know the result(s)...
