Great pen, awesome colour
I wish the grip section wasn't triangular. It forces a grip that is sometimes uncomfortable, but the writing experience is still really great. Medium nib is closer to broad. I probably should have got a Fine nib, but that's my fault. Not knocking any points off for that.

"Luxury" Version of an Enduring Design
My 'comfort pen' over the years, been using variation of the Safari design (fountain pen, mechanical pencil, rollerball etc) since the early Nineties. While I'm a noob to fountain pen appreciation and writing, I do find the Lamy Safari pen/pencil easy to use, love the simple but practical design, durable and of course the affordable price. The clip clings to your shirt pocket which I find very useful when doing work out in the field.
With this Lx version, I'd be more careful not to loose it after loosing a fair number over the past few years.
Only gripe I have for this order from Drop is that I received the 'Gold' instead of the 'Pink Gold' pen that I ordered. Looks too ostentatious for me. But still a 5-Star pen for me despite this.
