I didn't know that writing could be this smooth. The nib is very springy, and I don't notice any scratch. Posting leaves a gap so the cap doesn't touch the body. Some don't like that but it hasn't bothered me yet. I love this pen, and now I'm thinking about joining the next Lamy 2000 drop. (wallet: oh god what have you done?!)
