spanky_blackI chose medium nib for this drop because I want a little wetter nib that I can use almost any situation. I also like my nibs very smooth. If neither of those things appeal to you, I'd say go for fine or extra fine. I own both fine and extra fine steel nibbed Lamy pens, and I'd have to say the X is just too tactile for me, but the other writes very well.
