This Lamy is going to be my very first fountain pen, hope it doesn't disappoint!
Just a quick question, it is able to accept other inks via the included ink refill converter?

Yes, the converter will enable you to use (almost) any bottled ink.

KibbehlsJust be careful not to use India ink, or ink meant for dip pens, in your converter. If you're looking for safe inks to try out, shops like gouletpens sell sample sized vials for cheap.
