Studio Appointments
Designed by Hannes Wettstein, the original model won both the Good Design Award and the iF Design Award upon its 2005 release. The Shiny Platinum edition doubles down on inscrutable style with the highly polished platinum finish and propeller-shaped, platinum-coated pocketclip.
For a world-class writing experience, the LAMY Studio Shiny Platinum comes with a bicolor 14-karat gold anodized nib that provides just the right amount of feedback as it glides across the page. Accepting both LAMY ink cartridges or any bottled ink via the included converter, the Studio generates a consistent ink flow that only has to be occasionally adjusted for optimal writing conditions.
Glaser Leather Pen Case
The Glaser Leather Pen Case is a collaboration between Massdrop and Glaser Designs to produce a high-quality leather pen case. Originally designed to fit the LAMY 2000, it's a great fit for the Studio as well.
Glaser Designs is a studio in San Francisco that specializes in made-to-order hand finished leather goods for executive travelers and corporate clients. Knowing that a quality product starts with quality source materials, Glaser began with bark-tanned leather derived from open range grass fed cattle. The leather’s natural color darkens to a rich, reddish brown color as it ages.
