In the meantime, and for those still curious, the rollerball can be used to make an eyedropper conversion with some serious caveats: while the ink window holes aren't there, the rollerball has smaller holes elsewhere that may make it too much of a hassle to convert. If you want to try the conversion, here's a helpful little video I found on youtube:
I don't know anything about the author, but it's a cute video and relevant to the conversation so I thought I'd share it.
@amodell and @fvqoh, I agree that the Z26 has a more classic look with the black handled piston rather than the red. I'm partial to reds, but black goes with everything. The advantage of the Z24 is that it has those plastic nubs on the side that help to hold it more securely to the section. If the Z26 has them, too, someone should correct me.
9 hours to go. This drop will likely come around again, but who knows when? For now, it's a great deal on a pretty slick pen. And yes, I'm aware of the fact that there *isn't* a star by my name for this drop. I jumped in on a previous drop. More than one and I'd get them confused with each other. ;)
