I just finished an order for 40 of the Walnut/Maple cubes and the customers paid the full $245 price from our website. Some folks understand that its not as easy as one might think to make these wood items. Look easy but its not! Even after making many of them it still takes over 3 hours to make one and often pieces of wood are not cut the EXACT size needed or have just a slight angle and they can't be used. Precision wood working takes time, skill and good tools that most weekend hobbyist don't have. Honestly, I have been doing this since 2005 and I am still learning the craft.

I'm sorry, but some things, regardless of how "well made", are simply not worth this kind of money. Nothing could make this item worth $150.

Lol, I purchased a hand made pen chest for 42 pens and lined with velvet for $150 shipped. How is a square with 9 holes justified for such a price?

this seems like it'd be insanely easy to make if you have access to some basic woodworking tools and a few hours

This is even more of a ripoff than the "Lanier 15-Pen Upright Wood Stand" that was being sold t two weeks ago for $120.
I find it hilarious that anyone would pay for six squares of wood glued together. The sides aren't even jointed, just glued.
I rate this as 100% garbage.

Nice woods, but I'll be damned if you couldn't make these minimalist pieces in a woodworking shop yourself, for a better price.

I am sorry I would rather buy Dudek Modern Goods instead, or even the Karas Kustoms...
