Lol this product looks like it cost maybe 5 dollar product.
Again massive fail product as you can get the same product for a few bucks more on Amazon.
It's missing a c clamp to hold the product in place.
No grommets tho build and secure the knife
No customizable angles for specific knives.

it-manif this was a great price the demand would far exceed what we are seeing.
most consumer's can determine alot of the products on massdrops is not much of a deal.
this product is not a good deal.

j_yiYes, yes it is. This product's MSRP is around 75 dollars, and here consumers (<-- note the lack of an apostrophe) pay around 30. Irrespective of whatever clones/knockoffs/similar products that exist, for THIS sharpener, the people who join the drop are getting a very good deal.

ZacablasterMSRP is not a good way to calculate value. Many online retailers routinely sell things for well below MSRP. Amazon is very close in price on this particular drop, for example, and if you have Prime, it's a few dollars cheaper than here, once you include shipping.

j_yiIt doesn't look like something I hobbled together trying to assemble flat pack furniture. MSRP is a meaningless joke, but that doesn't change the fact that this is a very effective sharpening system, particularly for the price. Especially for people who don't want to put in the time and effort to learn the fine skill of hand-sharpening on stones.

Lansky offers many different levels of similar sets, but the identical one to this on Amazon is $47 with Prime. It also includes rubber on the clamp where the knife goes.

j_yiI linked the exact model massdrop is advertising bud. Any others it links to that are cheaper are not the exact same model. Notably the one about the same price as the massdrop, but doesn't include the rubber pads and different stones.
