Beginners should get the Hakko clone for $20 like the Yihua 936. If you really want to dive in to soldering head first buy the real thing and get a Hakko FX-888D and still have money left over to buy the other stuff lol.

testuserPlease read Ming’s posts in this thread. For soldering using leaded solder on hobby projects, the included Edsyn soldering iron will work better than the Hakko 888D (I say that as someone who has been using a Hakko 888D regularly for about a year). Also, you are not going to find the other stuff in this kit for this price anywhere else, unless you make some great scores on used gear.

testuserThis. I'm using a Yihua 936 right now and it's working fantastic. Granted I'm a casual/above casual hobbyist at best and not an electrical engineer or anything, but the Yihua is fantastic and hasn't performed less than I've expected in any way so far. As I progress into this, I'll eventually upgrade, but that's a fantastic starting point. I'm borrowing it from my friend who got it for $40 I think? and it came in a kit with a stand, like 10 different tips, and the station it plugs into with the temperature control knob.
The Yihua for the soldering iron, and a soldapullt for a sucker.
