I've had this exact model for over a year, using it almost daily on the job doing electrical and plumbing repairs. I absolutely love it! I'm about to send it in die warranty work. The pliers have a (very) slight bit of wiggle, the blade is all chipped up, the flat head driver has a small bit of warp, the jewelers screwdriver snapped off flush in its handle, and all tools stored internally have a loose wiggle to them. Even with all this, it's still an excellent tool, and again, I'm not the traditional use case as I am carrying this on my belt and using it daily. It takes all the abuse in stride and is still usable as it is. Also, for an awesome holster (I dont like snaps or velcro) get a Blackhawk double stack 9mm single magazine holster (for a pistol magazine). It's open top and uses a polymer leaf spring for friction to hold the Leatherman in securely, but it slides in and out easily. You can find it here: http://blackhawk.com/Products/Holsters-Duty-Gear/Handgun-Accessories/Cases/Injection-Molded/Single-Mag-Case-Double-Stack.aspx

TehSpazGreat tip on the blackhawk mag case, TehSpaz. Thanks! Think it will similarly work with the thinner Wave?

laeaglesIt should. I was tipped off to the Blackhawk mag pouch by an air force family member who said they used the mag pouches for all sorts of multitools including SOG, Gerber, victorinox, and Leatherman.
It might fall out if you're doing somersaults and back flips, but mine holds great crawling under decks and in tight equipment rooms.

TehSpazThat was an awesome suggestion....ordered the Charge from Cutlery Shoppe and got it and the case on Friday...and that it's a slick and easy pairing. Really appreciate it
