I was impressed with the toler tools union, just not sure I’d get a lot of use from it. I’ll look it over again.
As for the discounts, some guys have all the luck!
RayFIt's got all the hits, wrench, pliers, knife, saw, file bit driver.
Only thing it doesn't have is scissors or a corkscrew, two things I do use a lot.
Massdrop has become nothing more than one of the boutique internet marketing sites for people too lazy to shop price and delivery. The kind of folks who simply check their email inbox and say, "Oh, that sure looks cool!" and order it. And Drop is primarily trying to capitalize on those folks, offering items at what amounts to full-boat MSRP, or at best, a price that matches about what you can shop around for on certain items. You need look no farther than the name change - from Massdrop to just Drop. In the past I think they had an interesting idea; gather a group together to make a bulk buy and get a discount for doing so. Now it doesn't seem they do that. Much like retailers who get badge-engineered products, Drop gets someone like Sennheiser to build them a headphone with slightly different colorways, cords, etc., and markets it, period. I think the days of great deals are gone on Drop. That's just not where their marketing strategy lies anymore.
AntneeYep, and now they have gone "all in" on the curation business model by opening an Amazon store. It *should* lead to shorter shipping times, etc. - *if* they manage their inventory well, but that's always been a problem for them so we'll have to wait an see on that point. But gone are the days of their "buying in bulk and passing on the savings to the customer." Drop opening an Amazon storefront just drips with irony.
Yes, we know you can get this pretty much everywhere else shipped tomorrow, as opposed to three weeks wait at DROP.
But please consider the 1% loyalty cash back points that you would be getting with your order only here at DROP and nowhere else!
jstnjContacted Support yesterday and they said: "Thank you for contacting us.
I understand you have some concerns over the shipment delay.
I am flagging this to my logistics team so we can get a new expected ship date for everyone in the launch.
We'll send an email update as soon as we have information to share. If you prefer not to wait the additional time you may cancel your order by going to drop.com/transactions."
