So, have had this for a couple of weeks now. Love it! Especially during these warm summer nights where we have had to keep the window open. Blots out most of the neighborhood sounds during the night.
Probably where it helps me the most is when returning to bed after a bathroom break. Frequently I would toss and turn and have trouble falling back to sleep. No anymore. We have settled on one of the Fan sounds and one of the White Noise sounds and alternate between the two every few days. Very happy with this unit. 😴😴😴

not really a discount - but this is an excellent white noise machine. Lots of sound options and plenty of volume. I run it daily, all night, for 3 years or so - super reliable

not a good deal - you can buy this everyday at Walmart or Amazon for $49.

Just a note that these noisemakers have replaced the old ones in our home and they're fantastic. Can't hear a "join" or "pattern," and they are nice and loud with a great assortment of sounds. One of ours came without a plug, but did have a USB cable. Not sure how long they'd last on USB battery bank because we always use A/C.

What's the power draw on this? How long could I run it on a battery bank via USB if I were somewhere without power (typically just use an iPhone app right now, but this seems a lot more appealing)? I've got a very large capacity power bank that I purchased from Massdrop a month ago that would seem up for the job.

mwilliamsWe have these at home and they're great for the newborn. For travel, we actually have the micro version that is about 1/3 the size of these and have a battery built in. They're around $30 elsewhere right now. Runs ~6hrs with the built in battery and is much louder than it looks for white noise. Also doubles as a bluetooth speaker so it's great for travel.

mwilliamsQuick answer: Very little power.
I plugged ours into a 30,000 mAh powerbank. Running all night it went from 100% to 98%.
I’ve determined that it won’t work on QuickCharge 3.0 ports. The draw is so low that the USB port will auto-shut off after a few minutes. But if I move the device to the regular 2.4 A port it will run all night uninterrupted. Hope this helps.
