I use 27 inch one and it is passable. Powered with rx 560 as daily hate machine. It does play games at 1080p without problems at medium settings. Only issue i got with panel was getting sun spot but LG replaced it within week and when replacement had stuck pixels they replaced panel again without any issues. Still have year of warranty left on this one. I am running it at 200% scaling and it feels like 1080p 27 inch panel. Default scaling of 150% is not pixel perfect. One warning it does not support 4k@60fps trough HDMI connector for full speed experience Display Port is necessary.

Don't make the same mistake I made, I recommend don't get the 24" for 4k resolution, it is simply too small to see much of anything. Secondly, unless I'm mistaken LG still has the image retention issue on OLEDs. If you don't know what I'm talking about then google it.

Anyone uncertain about a 43" screen - just go for it. I went from 3 - 21" screens to a 43" 4k for work and find it very productive and great to use. I am a DBA/Operations IT guy and having the extra space for work windows and server monitor windows is great.

I was interested until I saw that the 32" is a VA panel while the rest are IPS. Like WTH LG. Now for what I truly want is a 34" or 32"(curved or not), 4k HDR, IPS, 100hz, Freesync 2, 10 Bit panel with really slim to no bezels for no more than $500. And NOT in white. Black or dark grey/gunmetal will do. What company will be first????

ZeroplanetzMonoprice #27772 has all that except it's 60 Hz. It even looks almost exactly like this one (which may not be a coincidence). I'm using an open box one (#33454) which was delivered for under $200.

ZeroplanetzIf you could blow up your budget to 3 times high, you'll discover there's one dazzling monitor from ASUS ROG called ROG Swift PG27UQ. But the only way to get it down to 500USD level is to wait for another 3yrs...

Note that the 43UD79-B is *not* a FreeSync monitor -- it was announced with FreeSync support but didn't ship with it. I have one and it shows up as unsupported in the Radeon settings app.
(I am otherwise happy with it -- I really like the multi-input flexibility -- though $519 is not an exceptional price. NewEgg had it for $449 recently, though they sold out quickly.)

I'm wondering if this is HDR compatible, I'm looking for a good non expensive display for a PS4 Pro

Agreed, the HDR10 standard requires a 1000 nits. (standard sets might reach 350) I just bought a HDR dolby vision set that peaks at only 850 nits, it is BRIGHT... With the BBC logo it seems like a searchlight is in the room...

roissyUgh. upgrading to an Xbox One X was a no brainer with the gamestop tradein deal, it just sucks that my preferred type of screen (computer monitor) will apparently not work with HDR for a few more years.
