This is a fantastic monitor that's built for gaming. Everyone complaining about the lack of G-Sync drops on this website need to realize it costs the monitor companies (LG, AOC, BenQ) somewhere between $75-$150 just to have that goddamn proprietary snake oil. If you want to check out a decent site about technology, hop off Linus Tech Tips (who are sponsored by NVIDIA) and read Tom's Hardware or Anandtech. The AMD FreeSync model is a VESA standard, so eventually more and more monitors will be made with this gaming feature already .
G-Sync must be nice, but there are like six monitors that actually include it, and there are none that offer both IPS and 144hz [edit: Acer XB270HU for the cheap price of $800].
TN panels are amazing things if you're using this as a gaming monitor. Stop regurgitating the IPS marketing crap you read about UNLESS you somehow also have the time to do photo editing on top of your ridiculous 144Hz CS:GO games.
