Damnit!! I really wish this had dropped just TWO DAYS sooner. I /just/ bought 2 more AOC i2757FH's and had to deal with the after-market VESA mounting bracket....and yet here I have a 27", IPS, 1080p, bezel-less, VESA-mountable monitor! Ugh.

Anzial, I am sorry. If I have offended you in some way. It seems that any response that I give to you is never good enough. You always seem to want to put me down or prove me wrong. I personally would like to get passed this. So I extend my apologies to you for any wrong doings that I have done towards you.
I am here for the community 7 days a week, 365 days a year and almost 24 hours a day unless I am sleeping. I try my absolute best to bring the community products it will be interested in. Also, when people have questions or problems I am there to help.
Again, I am sorry if I have let you down personally in that mission and will continue to strive and do better.
Cheers.

Tex-ArozziHutch, this is highly inappropriate. First of all, I have never, ever made it personal, and said as much before. My problem is with MD, and only MD. I don't know you, and I do not pass judgements on your personal merits, and your apologies are implicitly accusing me of doing so which is not only incorrect, but also quite personal, since you are passing judgment on me by assuming I have some personal vendetta against you. You are simply the face of MD on the forums, and I address you as such, not as an individual B.Hutch. If it was another person instead of you, I'll be addressing him or her in the same manner if they fail to provide satisfactory answers.
Second, lets examine further your statements and 34" LG drops that you did not respond to. You said, MD shipped almost all monitors before and not since 2017 because shipping has increased significantly. Perhaps, but from my experience following 34" LG monitors neither of those statements are true. The first flat 34"LG drop had international shipping which was significantly higher than the one in 2017. At the same time, curved 34" LG has never been shipped internationally, even before 2017, while the 34" flat drops were consistently offered internationally.
Sure, it does not invalidate your general statement, but you also fail to acknowledge and explain such inconsistencies. I find such incomplete disclosure quite alarming in the light of MD's general lack of transparency which sometimes lead to catastrophic errors like the one that took place on Aorus drop. Sure, it's not your fault but it is MD's fault.

Well you said "barely" better specs, and IPS is a significant spec. And I could be wrong, but I believe if the monitor's refresh rate is limited to 60Hz, displayport won't give any better performance than hdmi.
Edit: and to be fair to your point, IPS isn't really a gaming feature, more for video/image editing.

JamMastaJewYes but most graphics cards only come with one HDMI port. I was interested in this monitor as well until I noticed there was no display port.
