Hey guys, so when this says it can pivot 90 degrees, that means that it'll go vertically on the stand that comes with it, right? Or am I misunderstanding that?

gsumpsterI think it's 90 degrees total. It will pivot down some as well (like 20-30 degrees in pictures I've seen), so it might not be able to pivot completely flat.
Thats my understanding at least.

I have your monitor already in my wishlist lol. I was wondering, how is the backlight bleed? If you have photos that would be amazing.

I just picked this monitor up from newegg for $230 delivered. It was on sale a couple weeks ago and goes on sale pretty often. I like it though. For $230. Not worth much more IMO, but monitor pricing is atrocious these days. And it does not have G-Sync, but it does have Freesync if that matters to anyone.

The other 29" monitors are different monitors. And they don't have the functionality to turn 1 monitor into 4.

I hardly believe this actually costs $592.99!! Took me a minute to find a very similar model on the LG website for $299. http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-29UM58-P-ultrawide-monitor

rahulrajeev1990That's not the right model. This is the one being sold: http://www.lg.com/us/business/commercial-display/it-products/desktop-monitors/lg-29UB67-B
Whether it's actually worth $592 is a different matter, but that is what LG priced it at.

rahulrajeev1990MSRP is LGs suggested price, except on newegg or amazon you'll never see this monitor go past $300 by much.

Umm, I might have missed something. But why is this even 592 DOLLARS at the first place??? 29" IPS 1080p ultrawide. No G-sync, not 1440p, not curved, no HDR, no RGB lights all over it, no Doritos bags bonus. JUST 4 screen-split. If you think it's worth it, no problems. I just wanted to share what I thought about this monitor.

I'll post some pics a little bit later, but my monitor, the Lg29um68-p, which is not the monitor listed by MD, has 0% bleed.

This is a 6-bit dithering IPS monitor that displays 16.7 M colors? That doesn't make any sense.
