I have a 4K monitor (PB287Q) from Asus for $450. Wanted to buy this monitor... but I had to save my money because I was planning to buy the 34 inch wide curve monitor from LG. This 4k monitor is just too expensive honestly...
By the way, Starwars Battlefront in 4k was amazing :)

KITTYfor the specs (for pro use)it is not too expensive at all, but I had it and it had issues and then I read that it was the whole series that seemed to have issues so I returned it. What I are paying for here is the res. in combination with color accuracy (99,5 % adobe RGB) for pro use... Samsung have a similar to this it costs around 1500usd

laserlordI see, I do use my 4K monitor to do game art and design, but no photography or film. It's good to see my work in high resolution, only a bummer that my 4K Asus monitor is not an IPS monitor like this 4K LG monitor. If I just had the money, then obviously I would have gotten this monitor instead, but it's still quite expensive. After all... I care and believe that my techniques and skills are more important than the quality of the tools I use. $1500 for an monitor.... that's insane.

KITTYGood idea on not buying it, I have 4K G-Sync Acer monitor and gaming on it is a bliss, too bad it's not an IPS either that's why I'm gonna wait a while until ASUS ROG Swift G-Sync is out and not plagued with issues or another Acer 4K with IPS Panel and G-Sync.
As for the Ultrawide one, I believe I know which one you're referring to as that should be the 1440p one? If yes then do look at Acer Predator G-Sync/FreeSync (two different models) of 34" Curved 1440p monsters. I'm seriously considering the FreeSync one added to my monitor setup to replace my current LG Ultrawide 29EA73-P that I've been using for couple years now which resolution isn't good considering it's 2560x1080p.
Let me know if you've pulled the plug on any new monitor as I'm doing research on it at the moment myself and I'll probably grab one in when I'm in States in couple of months time and more monitors are out.
And I confirm that Battlefront is gorgeous in 4K at maxed out settings! :)
