Sadly, already $480 on Amazon; delivery tomorrow on Prime. $490 would be a good deal otherwise, though.
Guessing the deal from their distributor was the same deal everyone else got online.
I purchased this monitor from AMZ a year ago and it's been a real trooper. I primarily use it for gaming but also for web browsing, media consumption, and occasionally for data entry/work flow. It excels at gaming, but make sure you're at least 2.5 ft (3 ft or more is ideal) from the display as 32" is massive even compared against a 27" monitor. Picture quality is excellent for gaming, blacks are deep, and colors are rendered well (sorry for no objective measurements). For workflow 32 inches at 2K resolution means text can be a tad grainy so fiddle with the settings to get where you need to. There's an LED ring on the back that offers several accent lighting options, if RGB is your thing then you'll like it, if not you can leave it off. There's no obnoxious gamer styling and the monitor can fit in at the office as well as at your battle station. The bezels are thin and it's a solid choice for multi-monitor setups. The monitor's power supply is external which means you need plan your cable management because there's an in-line power brick (as opposed to a wall wart). VESA mounts make it easy to place on a wall. I didn't use the included stand and cannot comment on its stability. The display can be overdriven to 165 hz and I haven't experienced any issues doing so. Performs admirably in FPS games.
Who's it for:
Gamers who have beefy rigs that can drive 1440p at 144 FPS that want a big display with the room to sit a couple of feet away.
Who should steer clear:
Visual media professionals and anyone interested in photo editing. The resolution, size, and color accuracy are not up to par for those seeking a creative media display; Opt for a 4k IPS panel at the same size.

If you actually read the description and follow directions, you'll see the actual price, $490. Killer deal!
