Recently ordered this monitor on amazon for $480 CAD ($375 USD). Great monitor! Especially at this price, just wish Massdrop had this drop a few months ago...

This is probably overclockable to 90hz would be my guess. However 34" at only 2560x1080 would make the picture seem fuzzy because of the low pixel density. But if you sit further back, it'll be less noticable. Keep that in mind when shopping 34" UW panels. 3440x1440 isn't too hard to drive compared to 2560x1080 and somehow running games even at 2560x1080 on a native 3440x1440 screen still looks better. Not everyone plays eSports games so 75hz isn't terrible either.

I have been wanting to see more on my monitor, so was looking at this 32" 2K...

This drop is 2" bigger, but the 2K has higher resolution. Do you think I'm correct in thinking that filling the display with the same Google Map, for example, I would be able to see more detail on the 2K monitor?
I don't know if that makes sense, but have brain fog from being sick so figured I'd put it out there :-)
Thank you!

I cannot own any monitor under ... Idk, 90Hz refresh, it's just nasty. Definitely prefer 1440 or above but I can handle 1080 assuming the monitor is smaller. 75Hz is jarring to me, cannot do it. IPS/TN is also a small issue for me, personally. All about dat refresh.

Actually, you can. LG makes a version of this ultrawide IPS monitor with 144hz refresh rate. https://www.amazon.com/LG-34UC79G-B-34-Inch-21-UltraWide/dp/B01LW5CGIS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1538243720&sr=8-4&keywords=lg+ultrawide+144hz&dpID=51DuJ0LvkqL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch Now that I have a monitor that has 120 and 144hz refresh rates, I would never go back to anything less.

I thought 6bit atrocity is limited to TN panels only. Apparently that's not the case.

evervescant75hz on on ips with a 5ms, and 1ms MBR it not bad for the cost and size of this monitor. Show me a better monitor at this size with a better refresh rate.
