Trying to figure out the difference between this and the LG 34UC97-S. Is the bezel? because on the 97-S, at least in the poorly photoshopped images, the bezel looks small on that model as well. The stand on the 97-S is a bit more attractive. Anyone have any insight?

colinwilliamsThe panels are the same between the two, the stand is different. The one shipping with this model is the hollow O base version, not the V base version. The hollow O stand is optimized so that you can do multiple monitor setups.
Other than that, the 3 year warranty is the core difference that makes this considerably more attractive than the 97-S
