HeatherVI already own this monitor, but It's frustrating to see product photos feature different models of similar LG monitors. If you dont believe me, it's blatantly obvious by looking at the monitor's stand. IMO this is false advertising, and misleading your customers. I mentioned this before about this drop and nothing was changed.
ukfan3108ukfan3108, The model LG we are selling in this drop is the 34UC87M-B. There are multiple curved versions of this monitor sold at this point. I believe there are 2 active LG consumer panels and 2 active LG commerical grade panels. They all will look similar and have very close model numbers as well.
We have the correct images of this monitor posted on this drop. We have sold hundreds of these monitors and have not had a community member complain that they got the incorrect monitor.
This exact monitor is being sold on many websites right now and they also have the same images listed that we do.

Tex-ArozziB.Hutch, I am aware that there are several similar models of this monitor sold by LG, but they do all have different model numbers. For instance I actually own the 34UC87c which is different than the 34UC87M-B Because mine does not have the thunderbolt connectors, but that is not the point here. I urge you to review the Description page again an look at the photos shown, but for your convenience I have included them here.
The banner image branded with "The Best of Massdrop" actually shows the 34UC97-s model, the stand is a dead giveaway. That is an updated version of the 34UC87 monitor you are selling. See here

The third instance is showing the ports. I'm not sure what panel that is that has a gold backplate on it, but the 34UC87M-b and 34UC87c have a black plastic body, not gold.

Very distinct difference here. The pic immediately above and below is the model you are actually selling, I believe. And the product description page with photos shows two pictures with the actual product, and three pictures with similar, but different products. If you would like I can go into additional details about the different functionality of the different model stands pictured on the drop page, a rather important ergonomic aspect of a monitor unless you plan on using a VESA mount.

KatieAThank you for your reply, but it is personal, its my money and others, not yours till we dont purchase (meaning till you actually ship the order) , I might not be the longest member here, but from average I participate, at least in one drop a week since i've joined. Again it is personal, as you listing products that are false advertised, and as stated above, you make plenty mistakes, that are not reasonable, only way you getting off with it is not too many complains, as you have many groups/communities with individuals interested only in one of them, meaning is hard to spot, your continues false/wrong advertising/info. My purchases here are simply fanciful, as stuff I need/really wont I purchase from places/sites where is available directly, unless is really good deal which recently have not been here that often.
By saying that, I mean I'm moving through many communities here, and by look 1/10 i'm checking there is terrible to small mistake at least once a week in at least one drop, and some of them are horrifying ignorance/copy and no brain content, please take note I only browse products im curious or possibly interested in.
I even recall case where your staff did not notice in 200 products shipped, that bottle cap is missing where most of us ordered couple of different sizes bottles where one of the bottles came with tap and other without it!
I'll pass you link if you want to investigate it more, but that is some serious ignorance/incompetence, took 6 weeks for missing caps to ship where they never arrived, so most of us cancelled the partial order, and bulshit from your staff asking for address confirmation due to return is no more than bullshit, as I have at least one package weekly arriving from MD, and that is not only one case I can get back to, actually have few products that have been refunded, replacement never arrived, yes I get my refund, but I have boxes stucking up of stuff that should be returned, but your company have never bothered, this is some serious issue, as how do you cover those losses, definitely not from your pocket, but from buyers one ...
Say it simple, you run a sweat shop establishment, and your staff is clueless, that would explain all this incompetence, lack of reply, support etc ...

Still, my question is: Why mistakes happen all the time, you're ope since 2014 I think, at least is how deep I went, I'm here 9 months with at least 1-2 delivered drops per week. What you saying is kinda disturbing, as from what I see 'you all work hard" but not hard enough. How the hell you company can make mistake in listings, pictures, descriptions, title, prices etc, at least 4 on 9 drop a day.
There is one word to describe, INCOMPETENT STAFF !
Girl, is only good copy and paste from page of the vendor, if you failing that, means one thing ! Or you have multiple users doing one job under different names making us to believe you have 20 staff or more working at MD, or you just plain silly !
I've ruined forums, warez, etc... what you say might be appropriate for members using net rely but not for peps who run bigger forums then this.
There is no excuse for your mistakes on listing mistake, they happen ll the time!
KatieA, wake up girl, I know most peps here are common internet shoppers drive by YT channels here, and they only come for single deal, but us who stayed and carry on buying are pissed of to the point of stopping shopping.
Problem is you know well is like Micro Payments for game apps, this is same pattern ! ! ! I dont mind as I have spare money but I can see it clearly most of the stuff old here is an accessory, mostly no one needs it.

I'm going to hop into this one because I've been here a bit longer and have more context to what you're asking. I will try to break down how things work and where things might go wrong. The general flow goes like this: - A product gets brought to our attention through polls or otherwise - The buyer (B.Hutch in this case) then looks into the product and reaches out to the vendor/seller to see about working together - If they agree then a number of things happen - They may send a sample for us to photograph or they may send us vendor images - They may send us info or they may send us to a page on their own website - A copywriter will research the item and use whatever info they have available to write about the product - Most errors that make it to the site happen here because of some simple misinformation being provided. - Someone will put everything together: pictures, copy, shipping, drop points, dates, etc - The drop is scheduled and the buyer gives everything a final look In early 2014 there was about 15 people in charge of everything on the site. That included engineering, the products themselves, and everything in between. Typically one person would react to polls, source product, build the page(in html at the time), monitor the discussion, and do the necessary paperwork for logistics. For several communities at once. With that few people, the hours were long and the pages had just as many errors, but communication was easy and response was rapid. Community members like yourself would point out the errors and we would fix them. Now there are several teams involved with each page and what worked with a community of a couple thousand people is not possible with a couple million. As mentioned, we are working on a better system for reducing the number of incorrect facts that make it to the page. This means better inbound information validation and better secondary checks before the drop goes live. Despite the massive increase of drops live on the site, there are still only a couple people responsible for writing every word and spec on this website. It’s easy to catch things once they’re already up because there are thousands of eyes on it and they belong to people who are incredibly passionate about those items. I hope this helps explain some. If we had a dm system I’d say hit me up, but that’s still in the works. If you want to talk more let me know though and we can figure something out.
