Still no listing of the refresh rate, I see... I assume it's 60hz, but why oh why don't manufacturers think people care about this? Or are they leaving it out because it is indeed 60hz, which is not so great? Just tell us the truth! A high refresh rate benefits more than gamers, you know.

gibbousmoonI believe it's 60hz with Display Port and 50hz with HDMI.
The display is beautiful, but I don't know if I can justify $800 right now especially without 120hz refresh rate.

solBLACKI can confirm 60Hz/DP and 50Hz/HDMI. You have might have to manually enable DP 1.2 in the settings though.

gibbousmoonYou would not be able to push more than 60 frames per second at that resolution based on prevailing cable tech.

AthacliathI have one of these monitors and I can safely say I can't tell the difference between 50Hz and 60Hz on HDMI.

AthacliathI don't see why not. I'm pushing 100 FPS on a 2550x1440 monitor using DP 1.2.

AthacliathThat's not how it works... Refresh rate and fps are two different things. We don't have the bandwidth for 100hz+ at this resolution with DP 1.2.
gibbousmoonHello @gibbousmoon, thank you for your post. The maximum frequency ranges for HDMI, Display Port, and Thunderbolt are 61Hz. I have attached the spec sheet for reference which is also located at the bottom of the drop description page.

WizardBro100 HZ is 100 complete images, aka 100 frames. 144 is 144 complete images per second. The ability of the monitor to display that many complete new images is restricted by the cable's ability to transmit the amount of data required to send 144 complete images.

Lanessar3.67 million pixels 100 times is less data than 5 million pixels 100 times.
