Still no listing of the refresh rate, I see... I assume it's 60hz, but why oh why don't manufacturers think people care about this? Or are they leaving it out because it is indeed 60hz, which is not so great? Just tell us the truth! A high refresh rate benefits more than gamers, you know.
gibbousmoonI believe it's 60hz with Display Port and 50hz with HDMI.
The display is beautiful, but I don't know if I can justify $800 right now especially without 120hz refresh rate.
AthacliathThat's not how it works... Refresh rate and fps are two different things. We don't have the bandwidth for 100hz+ at this resolution with DP 1.2.
gibbousmoonHello @gibbousmoon, thank you for your post. The maximum frequency ranges for HDMI, Display Port, and Thunderbolt are 61Hz. I have attached the spec sheet for reference which is also located at the bottom of the drop description page.
WizardBro100 HZ is 100 complete images, aka 100 frames. 144 is 144 complete images per second. The ability of the monitor to display that many complete new images is restricted by the cable's ability to transmit the amount of data required to send 144 complete images.
The display is beautiful, but I don't know if I can justify $800 right now especially without 120hz refresh rate.
Also for further details you can check out the manufacturer's website. http://www.lg.com/us/commercial/21-9-ultrawide-monitors/lg-34UM94-P.
