LeukybearSeeing as this monitor with the 3 year warranty will not be available (unless bought through some professional or corporate channels) for commercial sale and the fact that if a place other than a CostCo has them in stock they will be out of stock instantly or carry inflated pricing upwards of $1200-1300 USD, I would say jump in dude. The LG warranty covers parts/labor/backlight per their little PDF on the description page - so I personally think its hard to pass up.
