zmhahaMost Masercards have that condition : >Auction (online or live)means a place or Internet site where items are sold through price bids or
price quotes; or where prices fluctuate based on the number of people purchasing, or interested
in purchasing, a product. (Examples include, but are not limited to, Ebay, Ubid, Yahoo, and public
or private live auctions.)
Excluded from price protection.
TimGBased on the comments from Massdrop, they had to really work to get the $850 to begin with. LG was only willing to go $875 when the drop started. I doubt LG is going to go lower than the previous $850 if they even approve a second go round. They don't have to. The monitors are already popular, and so far there is no real alternative to these.
LiquidRealityThose monitors are sold out everywhere at 999$ or more, it will take some time to see them drop under 849$. Maybe once AOC hits the market at around 699$ for the same panel, but even then, I doubt they will have a lot of stock. To me at 849$ now and enjoy my monitor 3-6 months faster instead of saving 50$ even a 100$, I prefer having the monitor now at 849$.
LiquidRealityThere's 3 monitor worlds and each are the best experience, just depends what your tastes are:
1) Triple screen world. (low rez 1920x1080 times 3 though). For the immersion crowd
2) Single high rez (2560-4k), best clarity/picture screen (added 21:9 immersion)
3) 120-144hz world but low rez and worse picture. For the competitive shooter crowd
