Hawaiian Punch can for scale. This is a 19" monitor I have mounted on the MX. You can see it clearly sits much higher than the 34UM94 does in the previous photo. The height is dependent on the weight of the monitor.
CamererAs far as I can tell you should be able to adjust the lift strength to match the weight of whatever monitor you have mounted on the arm (assuming it is within the supported weight range of course).
CamererThere is a lift strength adjustment for the MX arm. And the MX is rated for up to 30 pounds, so it should handle the 34UM95 with no problems at all. Adjustment instructions are on page 9 of the manual. Link: http://www.ergotron.com/Portals/0/tp/G/MX/888-45-155-W.pdf
LiquidRealityI stand corrected, when I saw that in the manual I thought it affected tilt. It does in fact stop the arm from bouncing back up when you push it down.
