Hey Guys,
We have some good news and some okay news for the group today. First the good news! The vendor shipped out more than half of the group's order and it will arrive at our warehouse on 9/8 barring any delays en route. We will have our warehouse team breakdown the bulk order and have individual orders readied for shipment as soon as possible. We will update the group once orders from this batch have shipped.
Okay now for people who will be covered by the remaining batch. The vendor let us know that those units are currently in production and are scheduled to arrive at their US warehouse on 9/22 as long as there are no shipping delays on the way. When they receive the shipment they will have it freighted to us and we will update the group on the progress of the bulk order to our warehouse. We will stay in contact with the vendor and update the group if there are any changes on ETA.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 9/9 or sooner if something comes up.

HassanSOuch indeed. Well, clearly the unanswered question here is going to be in what order will the fulfillment take place? Date we committed to the drop? Last name? This is definitely a bummer; sinking over $900 into a monitor only to have it be delayed by a month or more is a pretty big hit. I am very surprised that the "vendor" didn't let you know that your order exceeded their stock before you placed it. I wish that kind of thing would have been mentioned up front before we committed to buying it.

callmejaceI tend to agree with you here. I was actually in the market for this monitor when this deal happened. The savings is nice but having to wait two months for something is ridiculous and in my eyes no longer worth the savings at that point. If I was told upfront this was how long it might take this wouldn't be an issue but I guess I'm just used to order and receive within a decent time frame. This is my first purchase at Massdropp and at this rate, it may be my last.

SydneyConsidering you would have likely been waiting just as long (and probably getting the 95 version) I don't see how you can really be upset. So you wait just a long, you get savings and longer warranty. Sounds like a win to me, even if you do wait two months.
Massdrop was upfront about how long it would take, that date slipped but at no fault to Massdrop. They did the best they could based on the information they had at the time.
