Wow...one day and my monitor is already out for delivery!
alright it's here. going to wait for complete darkness to check backlight but for now it only looks like a tiny bit in the bottom right - not the corner, but like an inch up the side of the monitor - and a little on the bottom left.
It mostly looks like IPS glow though.
Does anyone have any recommended videos to watch to test this baby in fullscreen?

also, update - backlight bleed is pretty rough now that it's pitch black. Probably comes up like 3 inches into the monitor from the bottom left corner, and about 2 inches in from the bottom right. That's not to mention the couple of spots randomly scattered around the monitor. Don't know whether it's even worth trying to call LG though...
has it been confirmed that we go through LG and not Massdrop?

crazyg0od33Yes it has been. The exact phone number to call was posted in a post earlier. You can to call that number so that you can get warranty support for commercial models.
