Received mine on Friday, finally set it up at work last Monday with a Mid 2014 Retina MBP. Luckily, I had no bleed issues; instead I got perfect resolution, sleep and wake-up out of the box with a Thunderbolt cable (not included.)
This being my first Thunderbolt display, an hour passed before it occurred to me I could use it as a USB and Thunderbolt hub. Now a single cable comes out from my MPB to control USB peripherals and the Thunderbolt-Ethernet adapter. Nice.
This display is BRIGHT. I had to scale it back to around 20% brightness and 50% contrast. The reader mode is pretty nice if you prefer lower color temperatures like I do. The antiglare coating is excellent. The matte 2010 Viewsonics this replaces were nowhere as good as this.
I can see why the upcoming curved display would be nice. I can imagine this is not a consideration for gaming, but this unit is so wide that your eyes have to significantly shift focus to reach the edges. Theoretically this can cause eye fatigue, which I haven't experienced in 10-hours of continuous use; in my case, coming from three-display setup, this is an improvement in that I don't have to turn and hold my neck turned for quite as long.
Needless to say, I'm very satisfied.

acolombaLikewise; I set mine up last night. Initially was crazy bright so had to tone it down *allot*.
For eye fatigue.. I'm also replacing 3 monitors with it (though I'll likely add one back I think for email/chat), and I am curious how it will pan it. It might go the other direction; I found when I have two different sized monitors next to each other; I had less fatigue. Will see over the next few months.. :)
