I had mines for a little over a month. Didn't want to sour everyone's mood regarding not getting theirs shipped on time. But overall I am satisfied with my purchase through MD. I am pretty patient going into this group buy and getting it, so I was well prepared for the delayed shipping.
My monitor came in perfectly fine. I would lie if I said mine was perfect, but it's not even noticeable at all. I use it overall for movies and love the 21:9 ratio. Recently started playing WoW with my GF and it certainly is nice having so much pixel space and aspect ratio while leveling a new toon. Regular use is also superb. I haven't been doing much photography, but checking out photoshop showed that I had a lot of room to see my curves and my picture product. Everything feels less cluttered.
Regarding the new UC curve models: It's exciting technology and it is definitely something cool. If I had a choice, at the same price range, I would had picked the Curved model as well, but at the $850.00 Massdrop discount versus the $1,299.99 MSRP, I am happy that I chose the flat 34UM94 and saved roughly $450.00 before taxes and shipping. If MD didn't get the price discount, I would not have considered this monitor. Thanks again Massdrop!
Possibly moving into a smaller apartment soon with my GF and I can easily see this doubling as our battle station and entertainment center. This is something the curved model would not excel in as there is a single point of focus (in both center of the monitor and distance to the monitor).
