One question: I need the monitor to be very low--about 1 cm off the surface of the desk. It looks like from the specs and the picture that the included stand is tilt only, is that correct? I assume I'll have to buy an aftermarket stand or clamp.

Actionable_MangoThe stand is tilt-only and has two height positions where you can attach it to the monitor. Neither will get you lower than several inches off the desk so your best bet is going to be a monitor arm. Mine can sit nearly on the desk with my Ergotron MX arm.

jsmonetThe Ergotron MX arm is only listed as suporting up to 30" screen so how does this fit?
Looks like the LX HD Sit-Stand Desk Mount LCD Arm is the only one that would fit it.

ShawnbThis monitor is like an extra wide 27", so it needs event less vertical clearance than a standard 30". Most stands have a fair amount of extra clearance too, and I've totally seen people put monitors way above the size recommendation on them (just make sure they don't exceed the max weight).

ShawnbMy Ergotron LX holds it fine. I had to adjust the spring tension but that's it

ShawnbUsually monitor arms are limited by weight more important than size. The screen is an approximation of weight I always thought.

jsmonetThanks for the reply. I've been eyeballing that exact mount anyway because it looks so nice. If/when we hit the commit price, I'll order one to have it ready.
