Does anyone have issues with their monitor not going to sleep? I've got a nvidia gtx970 and using a DisplayPort cable. When the monitor should go to sleep it keeps flashing "entering power saving mode shortly" every 5 secs but will never shut off. No issues when using using the HDMI cable. I've also tried a different DisplayPort cable and enabling/disabling DisplayPort 1.2 but no luck. My old Dell monitor works fine. Very frustrating.

Jeep327Yeah, it's a bug of sorts, apparently, either with Windows 8.1 or DP. No evident solution. I just disabled monitor sleep, the backlight turns off anyways with a blank screensaver, so it's next best thing lol

Jeep327I have this problem with power option set to monitor sleep. When I put it to computer sleep then monitor correctly shuts off. seems like an issue where the signal isn't completely shut off so the monitor keeps thinking its turning back on

Jeep327I have the same problem on OSX, along with others that have posted earlier.
Also seems to randomly shut off/sleep and flicker while i'm working... sending it back for this along with the bad backlight bleed i posted earlier. Called the commercial number yesterday, they took my info and said they would get back to me via email on a resolution....

Jeep327There is a fix for the monitor not going to sleep you can find the solution in the earlier pages, but apparently it has something to do with still registering your onboard GPU. A previous user said he had to disable all the iGPU options in his bios in order to fix the issue. I will find the page and the post and edit
