Does anyone here have experience paying duty or import fees to Canada for one of these beautiful monitors?

You'll have to pay the fees and taxes. MassDrop uses USPS to ship their items which means that Canada Post will deliver it once it arrives into the country. Thankfully Canada Post doesn't charge ridiculous fees for customs clearance.
The dealbreaker for me is that the final cost to for me is CAD$1350 ish
