My Experience so far:
I was part of the 1st order/1st batch but I received this monitor only this past weekend because I had it delivered to a friend who resides in the states (save on Shipping, Duties, etc) and he finally brought it up north (Canada).
Graphic Card:
Originally I wanted to use my old 4870x2 card to run this monitor so I got a DVI-D to DP adapter. The 2GB memory + the bandwidth limitation of DVI is just enough for this resolution but unfortunately, it doesn't work... thankfully I have a V3800 workstation card lying around (it has a DP connection) and hook that up instead. It only has 512MB of memory but for basic everyday tasks, it worked fine. I even played some LOL on low settings and it averages a framerate of 45fps with some artifacts so for those who have a graphic card with 1GB of memory, as long as you don't do intense gaming, it should be able to run this resolution without any problems. Anywho, I went and bought a R9 270 so I'll update this when I receive the card.
LightBleed:
Yes. I do have light bleed. Where? Bottom left and right corners. When do I see it? When my room is pitch black and when the screen is dark. Honestly, if your room is well lit, it isn't a deal breaker and I hardly notice it.... in fact the only times I've notice it is when I was watching certain scenes in movies and for very brief moments. I think that the more you focus on it, the more it seems annoying... but if you just do your daily task, soon you will forget about it.
Screen NO SLEEP:
Yes. I have issues with the screen not sleeping... I haven't had time to find a fix yet so for now, I just set a screensaver to run forever or I close my computer. Again, not a big deal. FYI - I did not hear any clicking noise neither.
Screen:
Gorgeous. It takes a while to get used since it's so large and a single webpage looks ridiculous on it. LG's software isn't great when dividing up the monitor but I think for now it's just rethinking the work space and readjusting my habits (coming from two 20" 1600x900 monitors).
Conclusion:
The monitor is now on an ErgoTech Freedom Arm (also from MassDrop) and it is a August Revision one. So far so good. My wallet is crying and I'm probably going to be spending way too much time in front of this piece of art but imho, it is well worth it.
